Position Summary


We are looking for a Project Manager to manage IT and software development programs that support government programs and customers. The position will play an important role in customer relationship management, plan and designate resources, monitor budgets, status and deliverables, keep stakeholders and internal management informed as well as provide oversight of the projects and internal teams supporting the programs. This role may manage more than one project at the same time. 

Project Management Skills:

  • Determine and define project and task scope and objectives
  • Predict resources needed to complete tasks in an effective and efficient manner 
  • Tactical, can meet deadlines, ability to “get stuff done” within the context of appreciating the culture

  • Experience in developing and managing a detailed project schedule and work plan

  • Ability to delegate, but also recognize/willing to “dig in” and get work done
  • Comfortable working with and understanding an Agile and SAFe framework, as well as working within a matrix environment

Required Experience and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • 3+ years Agile experience 
  • 5+ years’ experience managing mid-scale projects including but not limited to managing teams and subcontractors, preferably in the health field
  • Proven client engagement skills

Preferred experience:

  • Master’s Degree
  • Experience with federal and/or state government projects
  • Experience with financial software development and deployments
  • Agile SAFe certification
