Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Evaluation Specialist with knowledge of clinical and business processes within the VHA and experience in Government and healthcare settings conducting performance and compliance audits

 

  • Demonstrated experience/knowledge of compliance, operational, investigative, or other performance audits
  • Demonstrated experience in Data warehouse or Business Intelligence implementation
  • Experience working with Government program offices
  • Experience with implementing high-level Government programs or projects under critical time considerations
  • Demonstrated understanding national VHA scheduling and consultation management policies
  • Demonstrated experience with VistA Scheduling Enhancements (VSE) Scheduling Software, Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS) and Veterans Health Information System Technology Architecture (VistA)
  • Demonstrated experience with the following applications within VHA
    • Electronic Health Records (EHR)
    • Web VistA Remote Access Management (VRAM)
    • Consolidated Data Warehouse (CDW)
    • Consult Toolbox
    • Consult Tracking Manager (CTM) and CTM+
    • Community Care Databases (Top Metrics)
    • Health Share Referral Manager (HSRM)
  • Demonstrated experience/ knowledge of the medical healthcare industry

 

Requirements:

  • Data warehouse or Business Intelligence implementation experience
  • 3 years of experience with/knowledge of clinical and business processes within the VHA
  • 6 years of experience both in Government and private/commercial healthcare settings conducting performance and/compliance audits
  • 6 months of experience in the last three years with national VHA scheduling and consult policies (e.g., VHA Directive 1230-Outpatient Scheduling Process and Procedures; VHA Directive 1232 Consult Processes and Procedures, Office of Community Care (OCC) procedures and policies
  • US Citizenship required
